Floral Nihilism/Carcass Kokodama
Exploring a mythology of colour, Keiran's works present vibrant sculptural abstracts influenced by the constant sensory bombardment of modern life. Floral Nihilism observes a relationship between intense uncontainable feelings and nothingness, culminating in fleeting and beautiful connections between physical and unconcious worlds bound together by impermanence. Marrying common reminders of mortality and rich organic forms the Carcass Kokodama series uses these fleeting connections to explore the symbiotic rather than polarised relationship between nothingness the overwhelming vitality of life that springs from it.
